The product group assigns the article within the context of a specific upper-level group structure (e.g., Bathtub, Fittings, Radiator) and ideally corresponds to the table of contents of the print catalog. This initial classification is relevant to categorize the article. Each defined product group receives a group code of up to 3 characters and a descriptive text.
