A set of articles is a compilation of one or more articles that are grouped together to form a complete package. Consequently, article sets consist of set articles ("sub-articles") and together constitute the base article or a package with a new article number (cf. (Englisch) Artikeltypen ). All set articles must be present in the assortment and individually orderable. The commercial and logistical processes (e.g., ordering and delivery) are carried out through the components of the set.
Additionally, the following provisions apply:
Articles that include assignments of set articles must have the article type "Package/Set" (PAK).
Articles of the article type "Package/Set" (PAK) must include assignments of set articles.
An article set, consisting of an article with a quantity of "1," is not allowed.
Within a set, no articles of the types "Package/Set" (PAK), "Special Article" (SON), "Fee" (GEB), or "Package" (PKS) may be assigned.
Logistical sets (LOS) can be used as components of sets.
The components (referenced articles and quantities) of an article set must not be altered.
