The header data contains information about the manufacturer, catalog and master data message.
All information on a master data delivery is divided into header and item data. The header data is so-called "administrative data" for the master data server and contains the technically required information for the entire data delivery. On the one hand, these are details of the supplier or company and on the other hand details of the catalog. A catalog is a master data record. A supplier can have several catalogs, which divide his existing total assortment into sub-assortments. For example, a subdivision into product ranges, a subdivision into brands or a subdivision into products and spare parts is conceivable.
Header level data content
The information on the data contents at header level first refers to all known information on the data supplier. This is followed by comprehensive information on the entire data delivery.
