Ersatzteillisten (Spare parts lists)

A spare part is recognizable on the selected article type (see Article Types (Artikeltypen) ). Within a data delivery, spare part lists can be defined and spare parts can be assigned. If a spare part list is specified for an article, the association with an exploded view (with numbering of all existing components) becomes meaningful. The position numbers in the spare part list correspond to those in the exploded view, allowing needed spare parts to be determined and located in practice. Spare part lists can also be maintained for historical products (see Historische Produkte (Historical products) ) if spare parts for them are still orderable. Assigned spare parts do not need to be stored in the article data.
